Friday Randomness is Random

YESSSSIR

I've been making more time in my daily life to actually play some video games. I am about 10-12 hours into the single player of "The Last of Us". I think its going to give any game coming out this year, including the next-gen consoles games, a run for game of the year.

PS3 is definitely going out with a bang. I also spent a few hours trying out the online multiplayer. Which was a mistake, it kinda fucked me up. It's basically a 4 vs 4 team death match with 20 shared lives. There is another mode which is the same thing, but instead of your team sharing 20 lives, you only live once a round. First team to win 3 rounds win the game. It is very unique and I have not played anything quite like it. It is safe to say that it has been consuming my soul this last week. It's that fun and I don't know...there is just something about rolling up on someone like a god damn ninja and taking them out with a weapon you crafted from spare parts found throughout the map.

So why did it fuck me up?!? Well, its because up until this point I was dead set and completely addicted to the single player story mode. Being the typical tard that I am, I decided to give online a go after about 2 hours of playing the story mode. Now I lost a ton of interest in playing the story mode due to the amount of fun the multiplayer is. There is no way that I am not going to finish the story mode, but man...now it is pretty tough not to load up and jump online.

Here is the most gangsta multiplayer review that I could find. It is a great overall video on the multiplayer feature and touches about every aspect.

In Other News....

I started playing some Madden 2013 again. The Ultimate Team mode is really the only mode I ever play. I love collecting cards and building my team. The constant updated solo challenges make the mode stay fresh and the end user wanting more. My current goal is to obtain the BEST PLAYER EVER...

...Leon Sandcastle. Don't believe me? How dare you sir

Every year around June / July I start playing again. I have the sickness. I am thoroughly addicted to the NFL and playing Madden helps tremendously. We are getting so close now! Training camps start in about a week for most teams. I am a hardcore Rams fan and lets just say that over the last 10 years its been pretty hard to stay a fan. With the NFC West taking the top 2 spots in most pre-season power rankings...its going to be an interesting year to say the most.

Big Brother 15 and Dexter

Oh snapfizzle son. Speaking of my sickness, one of the main things that I do to pass the time until the start of the NFL season is to pay attention to mindless TV like Big Brother 15.

This year the series is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. Which I am OK with I guess. The first episode already aired and I wasn't that impressed. The casts seems kinda blah, but I'll give it a few weeks before I make my assessment.

One thing is sure, the producers sure did bring in some fine looking females. First impression so far is that there is going to be some super catty female drama...which is completely lame in my opinion...but we shall see.

Dexter starts this Sunday and is supposed to be the final chapter in the series. On one hand, I am excited to see how it ends and on the other hand, I am kinda sad to see it go. Don't worry, I won't spoil anything for people that might be up to date, but after the way last season ended. I am very excited to see how the writing staff is going to wrap it all up.

In my opinion, the writing staff has been up and down throughout the series, but overall good. I am willing to bet that they will finish strong though. Everyone is wondering WTF is going to happen to Dex. Is he going to get caught? They can't end it with him just continuing to be a CSI guy can they?

Quotes are pretty dope...

-Albert Einstein

Xbox DRM Changes - Not all Party Hats and Hand-Jobs

Hola blog lovers!

Youtube user Boogie2988 is quite simple put, a genius. If you follow video games at all then I am sure you know or have seen his "Francis" videos. I don't know exactly why I find them so entertaining, but I can't help but to crack up everytime I see his videos...he is super awesome.

Here is his reaction to Xbox Changing its DRM Policies. Make sure to check out his channel and sub, he is one of the few YouTuber's that I follow weekly.

Have you made a decision on if you are going to get a next gen console? If so, have you decided on which system? There are plenty of pros and cons on the situation, but that is for another time.

"The Last Of Us" Looks Good....

No shit right?

If for some reason you haven't heard of Naughty Dog's newest game "The Last Of Us", you can thank me by following me on twitter.

DO IT!!

While I for one did not enjoy playing their previous franchise, the Indian Jones type adventure game, Uncharted. I definitely appreciated how amazing it looked. I tried to play it, but it just wasn't that fun to me. I did like the story so much that I ended up watching YouTube "Lets Play" videos on all three games. Strangely enough, I enjoyed watching it like a TV series or movie more then actually playing it.

So when I heard of their new game, it caught my attention. There was a demo out on the PSN, but due to the lack of time I have in my life currently, I ended up watching someone else play it on YouTube...

...what has my life come to these days? I digress

Check out this play-through of the demo.

Pretty f'n intense right?!? I almost made up my mind and decided that it was unlikely that I would actually attempt to play it. I figured that it might have the same feeling as Uncharted did for me. However, I decided to check out this review from Rev3Games the day before it came out.

I'll just say that after watching the in depth review, I am going to go out and buy this game. It looks like a classic, I just can't resist myself. It releases world wide on the best day of the year, Flag Day. (June 14th 2013)

Music Remixes / Covers - Better then the Original?

"One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain"
-Bob Marley

Pretty badass quote in my opinion. If you think otherwise, you can go fuck yourself.

THATS RIGHT!

Music is serious business people! I've found myself listening to more and more covers or remixes of songs these days. It begs the question, are they better then the original?

"Better" is a strange word to describe it. I think a more appropriate term to use is "unique". A song that is covered by another performer can take on a whole new meaning, strike a completely different emotion, or just add the artist's favor to it.

Overall I think the concept of them are pretty badass. Below are some of my favorite remixes / covers of songs. Share some of your favorites in the comment section unless you are lame. If that is the case, please see below.

2013!?! Its Been Awhile Uh?

...I used to update this blog 3-4 times a week.

Its been a little over a year since I did anything with this blog. I never wanted to get rid of it because it serves as a memory of a good time in my life and also as a reminder to never ever get that addicted to a video game again.

Lots of things has changed in my life, but one thing as always stayed the same. My love for creating and designing shit in my head and then seeing it manifest.

So after a night of heavy drinking, I found myself in front of my PC, coffee in hand, at 9am checking my emails. One email was a Blogger email stating some BS about this blog and its stats. Intrigued, I pulled up the old site and, well....one thing lead to another.

I ended up completely redesigning the blog with a custom template. I've added several new links and features. So check it all out. I put a link to a few Pandora radio stations I listen to on a daily basis as well as some sites I visit pretty regularly. Take a look around and let me know what you think with a comment below.

So whats the plan!?!one1

As of now, I want to update the blog on a weekly basis. To my surprise, I still get a few hundred hits a day to this blog...probably mostly super out-dated Resto Shaman crap and Katy Perry GIFS.

I'LL TAKE IT THOUGH!!

Video games, stoner talk thought provoking stories, TV series, sports, sexy females, and other random bullshit is what this blog is all about. You can follow along several ways, all of them located on the side bar.

Until next time, I'm WTFout!!
