A part of my soul has been crushed and over the last few months has been slowly dying.

This isn't a sad, boohoo, woe is me, post. I just feel like I should get my thoughts out there on a major change in my life and a major shift in one of my main hobbies.

That is what the description of my blog states.  I have always been a fan of sports, but really....it was about 90% NFL and 10% everything else. I absolutely loved the NFL and what got me into the sport was when the LA Rams moved to St. Louis in 1994. Previous to that, I liked the sport, but it was just meh...whatever. I am from St. Louis and the grand majority of sport fans in the city is for baseball. The St. Louis Cardinals are fucking everywhere here and dominates the sport news.  It was pretty hard to get into the NFL in that kind of environment. However, when the Rams came to STL....it was all bets off. I slowly became addicted to everything NFL.

Over the last two seasons the possibility of them moving back to LA has been the main topic with me. Then it actually happened. I was legitimately shocked and even though I thought I prepared myself for that outcome...it hurt ALOT.

This post isn't to rehash those bad feelings though. It is about a void and what in the hell am I going to fill it with? I mean fuck man, it has been 20 years!

I thought that I was a big enough fan of my Rams to survive a move back to LA. However, I am totally feeling and acting like a jealous EX  lover. If I read or hear anything about the NFL or the Rams I just can't help but to feel the following...

FUCK YOU, FUCK YOUR PRODUCT. I HOPE YOUR FAIL AND I GENERALLY HOPE YOU NEVER FIND HAPPINESS...

Pretty crazy right? I don't know to explain it or why I react that way....it just happens. I am very interested in how I will react once NFL seasons starts again. Will I get back into it miraculously or will the RAGEY EX-LOVER emotions continue? I am assuming it will be somewhere in the middle and that I will slowly lose interest in anything related to the NFL. That is my hope anyway because who wants to have those angry and hurt feelings forever? Not this guy....that is damn sure.

Insert Witty and Random Topic Change Title Here!

I was talking to a friend recently about blogging. It brought up memories of how much I enjoyed creating something and writing random shit. Too bad I live a pretty boring life and with being a stereotypical family man now, my free time is used to play video games and reading stupid shit on Internet sites like Reddit.

We shall see how it goes... First things first though. I must update my blog with new pictures and get around to changing my blog description!

LoL Hiatus, Diablo 3, and Other Random Nonsense! Huzzah!

Ahhhh yeaaahhh son!

It’s been a few months, but I just can’t stay away for long. This blog serves a pretty decent timeline in my life and as long as I feel the need to write down my random bullshit, it will continue for another five years. 

Five years…dang. Hard to imagine that I would still be posting blog entries in 2014 when I started in 2009. Time seriously flies! Not too much has changed though, I am still playing video games and spewing gibberish…so let’s get this going shall we?!?

It has been 4 months since my last post and that was my 6^th entry in my League of Legends (LoL) "journal". I hit 100 normal PvP games and my record was as average as you can get – 50 wins and 50 losses. Certainly I am level 30 now…probably fighting off pro team offers left and right while streaming to 1000's of nerds nightly…you know, the typical, completely normal route that all LoL players do…

…yeah, I think I won 2 or 3 out of my next 10 games. I found myself getting frustrated at my team mates to the point that I was actually actively arguing with them. That’s right; I was yelling and arguing with kids that were probably half my age.  Once I realized this sad fact about myself, I decided it was time to take a break. I didn’t uninstall the game per se…but I did make a conscience decision to STOP playing. It also helped that the same week that I decided to stop playing LoL, Titanfall released.

BIG. FAT. FAIL…

…for me anyway. I still like the game. I really like the concept, the gameplay, the verticalness of the maps, and the overall feel of the game. I was actually shocked that after a week or so, I was pretty much done with it. It wasn't that fun to me and I still can’t figure out why exactly. My best guess is that I am pretty much done with the standard FPS game modes. I probably put 20-30 hours into it before I was bored…like really, really, bored.

Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls approaches…

I’ll just log into Diablo 3 (D3) and screw around. I highly doubt I’ll buy the expansion. I mean, how fun can the changes be? D3 is just a game about loot and killing the same shit over and over again…I am just so bored, I have nothing to play!!!

That was my thought process going into it. I lasted about 4 days before I bought the expansion and before I knew it, I was playing A LOT. Like, MMORPG a lot. Atleast 3 hours a day, sometimes less, but more often than not, I was staying up way too late to grind gear. I have to give it to Blizzard; all of the changes they made rocked my face. I was a fan of the original D3 and dumped 100s of hours into it. However, after I beat inferno, I just lost interest and stopped playing.

This time around I easily doubled or even tripled my playing time. It took about 2-3 months, but I finally hit the wall with the game. Clearing T6 rifts with ease and farming Act I bounties for that fucking Ring of Royal Grandeur got really boring. Patch 2.1 is coming out soon though and it would seem to be a game changer. Once it goes live, it is going to be hard not to get sucked back in.

I am kinda scared though...I have moved on; I don’t really want to go back.

Hiatus no more!

That’s right, I have moved on…more like back to League of Legends. I have gotten myself caught up on all of the patches that I have missed as well the NA and EU pro scene. Yesterday I completed my return to LoL by playing some AI bot games!

Here is a pro tip – Don’t play D3 and LoL. If you want to play both, I highly suggest you update the movement keys in D3 to match LoL. Both of the games are very reliant on mouse clicking. D3 uses left click for moving and LoL uses right click for moving. My brain doesn’t compute jumping back and forth, so for now I am just going to stick it out with LoL.

I was kinda sad that my main champion got a lot of work done to dethrone him from OP status. The good old fat man that drinks beer is still usable, just nowhere need as powerful as he once was. Coming back from a long break I figure it’s a good time to mess around with a variety of champs. So far I played a few games with Ziggs and Lulu. One thing is certain; I am very bad at this game. It isn't as easy as it looks and it will take some time to get back to the skill level I was at before I stopped playing. The nice thing is that I can go back on my previous blog entries to read up and watch videos that helped me.

I read this quote on the LoL reddit page a few months back and saved it because how awesome I think it is.

"Lanes are important because they teach different things. Top will teach you how to lane, mid will teach you mechanics, jungle will teach you timing, support will teach you awareness, and adc will teach you positioning."

That is some high elo Buddha shit right there people. In my experience, that quote is right on. I wanted to post it here because I am REALLY going to remember that when I start doing PvP matches again. My main goal by far is to not allow my team mates to get a reaction out of me. No matter how illogical they might act, I am really going to try just to focus on getting better and winning games.

Not sure the next time I will blog, but I feel I rambled on quite a bit for one entry. I’ll leave you with a good read on how to become a better player along with a pretty legit quote from a pro player.

2013!?! Its Been Awhile Uh?

...I used to update this blog 3-4 times a week. 

Its been a little over a year since I did anything with this blog. I never wanted to get rid of it because it serves as a memory of a good time in my life and also as a reminder to never ever get that addicted to a video game again. 

Lots of things has changed in my life, but one thing as always stayed the same. My love for creating and designing shit in my head and then seeing it manifest.

So after a night of heavy drinking, I found myself in front of my PC, coffee in hand, at 9am checking my emails. One email was a Blogger email stating some BS about this blog and its stats. Intrigued, I pulled up the old site and, well....one thing lead to another. 

I ended up completely redesigning the blog with a custom template. I've added several new links and features. So check it all out. I put a link to a few Pandora radio stations I listen to on a daily basis as well as some sites I visit pretty regularly. Take a look around and let me know what you think with a comment below.

As of now, I want to update the blog on a weekly basis. To my surprise, I still get a few hundred hits a day to this blog...probably mostly super out-dated Resto Shaman crap and Katy Perry GIFS.

Random Thoughts, Katy Perry BJ, & An Ass Shakin Rapper- LETS GO!

You guys know I must be bored if I am writing a f'n blog post. Its Friday night at 2am and I am at work. I thought I had the master plan before coming in that I would just play my ps3 all night. However, my portable monitor didn't work and now I have nothing to do.

I guess I could do work shit, but its not like I am going to get in trouble or anything. It will get done when it needs to right? Just thinking about that statement is puzzling to me.

Is it because I don't like my job? No, because I really like my job. I mean, I don't love it...but its a job that is super easy and allows me alot of free time.

Is it because I'm just lazy as fuck? Probably, but maybe not. I do think that I am lazy. I fall into the stereotype of a "young lazy American" for sure, but only for things that really don't care about. Its not that I don't care about my job, I do....I guess I am assuming that my work isn't important enough to have any effect on my company's ability to make money. So even in the worst case scenario, being it will not get done, I don't think I would lose my job. Fuck what I am saying, I wouldn't even get in trouble.

Management would just assume that I had a good reason why it didn't get done. They think that way because I am the gangsta gangsta at the main point of my job. Hints the reason why out of 30 or so people in my department, mgmt only trust 3 of them to work without some sort of authority figure in the building. So maybe that is why I feel compelled not to do any extra work while I am at work.

I am glad we had this little conversation. I feel much better about not being productive doing office hours lol.

Back when this blog was alive and popping years ago, it was all about video games. Mostly one video game, the MMORPG World of Warcraft. I had between three and five posts a week on the game, 1000+ hits a day, people leaving comments, good times were had by all. Then I stopped playing the game, but found out that I really enjoy writing.

So I turned this blog into a generic blog about anything that I want to talk about. Problem with that is that I no longer had the driving force to keep me writing. Hints the last post was posted 5 months ago lol.

I KNOW...WHEN AM I GOING TO MAKE MY POINT ABOUT THAT SEXY BRIT LOVING WHOOTY KATY PERRY?!?!?1!

I fail, I know. So since the reformat and subject change to this blog I have had posts about all of the topics the description on my banner states....except sexy females.

And lets be frank, who doesn't love sexy females? Sexy females are a big part of my life. In this day in age I think it is really hard, if not impossible, NOT to be bombarded with some sort of sexual images of the female gender.

TV shows, commercials, magazines, mobile devices, and I am not even talking about the text book definition of porn. Porn is all of the damn place thanks to the internet. When was the last time you looked at a porn magazine? I just laugh about it now because it seems so silly.

...fucking magazines, yea right lol.

Either way, you really can't mention sexy females and not talk about Katy Perry. This bitch grew up home schooled in a very strict Christian family. She wasn't allow to wear V necks shirts or shorts that were more then an inch over her knees. Her family gets her a music deal with a Christian band and the next thing you know she blew the FUCK UP.

She has a good voice sure, but you're tripping if you think she would be famous without her, uh...assets.

If I'm coming across as hating, I am not. Make that money GIRL!

Is there anyone out there that doesn't enjoy YouTube? I mean serious, its amazing to see what random people out there are doing....especially when they are obviously being serious and all you can do is laugh on how funny / redonkeyous it is.

Totally makes sense to me. Making it as a rapper ain't no joke brah. The game can chew you up and spit you out. You need as many people as possible to hear you in order to make it.

My opinion on the videos is that it is obvious that her rapping skills isn't what got her the 2500+ subscribers lol, but the girl can shake it. I think I need to contact her for my rap group, Caucasian Invasion.....more on this another time though lol.
