No Tuesday Maintenance = Figures...

Hola blog lovers

So this week I have to go through training at my job. Since they don't do training between the hours of midnight and 8am, I am forced to work the first shift....the dreaded 9-5

Blah....just saying 9-5 makes me sick to my stomach...I never saw myself as one of those corporate employees that work 9 to 5, drink Starbucks coffee, and wear white shirts with black ties. Well....at least I don't drink coffee....I guess I can be excited of the fact that I have a job during these times.

Anywho, that being said it figures that for the first time in the past 2 months, Blizzard isn't going to have its weekly maintenance. Keep in mind that my main playing time is in the morning....

Im not a "hater" and I don't want to seem like I'm "hating" all on my other fellow morning players....just figures. GRRRR!

In other news...

I was so determined to keep pace with my other friends DK, that I forgot to learn my new skills and spells! So when I dinged 74 on my shaman yesterday and got the quest to go to Dalaran, I was in utter shock that I haven't learned any new spells since 71!

So now that I have my new chain heal and lesser healing wave spells, I am really kicking ass and taking names! I plan to get into a Violet Hold group tonight. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a somewhat decently geared tank

We shall see - until then let your loot be fat and your repair bills cheap - I'M OUT

Hehe, I didn't train skills on my lock until level 76 or so and spent 200g or more on skill training alone.

Honestly though I can't say I really felt a lapse in power over those 6 levels for not training my skills.

Had I tried skipping out on 6 levels of training around level 40 I would've been a lot worse off.

I wager those last 4 levels of skill training are going to set me back at least another 300g though.

This northrend, she be expensive I tell ye

Forgetting to train skills can be a blessing and a curse. It's almost like remembering a secret compartment in your wallet and realizing that you had stashed a twenty in there a while ago. On the other hand, how much time would your new abilities have saved you to get to that point in the first place?

What pisses me off is when I forget to assign talent points. Twice now I've dinged on my DK, went to assign the new talent point, and realized that I had three points to spend. Doh!
